Today is day eight of my healthy living kick, and while I’ve stayed below my calorie count on the My Fitness Pal app I have let the walking on the treadmill fall to the wayside as I get adjusted to my new college semester schedule. Once I get used to my new hours I will be able to find time to add that in again and all will be well with the world once again.
Healthy Living Shopping List
Today I thought I’d talk to you about my shopping list considering I just created one and I am excited for my new healthy living shopping. I decided to stick with white meat primarily for dinners, so chicken and pork are going to be staples in my house in the future. For lunch, I had to get creative because I needed foods that could last without refrigeration and be packed for on the go lunches and dinners since I have some very late classes this semester with small breaks between them.
- salad kits
- tuna fish kits
- peanut butter
- whole wheat wraps
- low fat/non fat pudding cups (to satisfy my sweet tooth)
- V-8 (low sodium) small individual sized
- KIND/LARA/LUNA bars (meal replacements)
That’s about it. If this list doesn’t help me lose weight, I don’t know what will!
The real test will be sticking with it!
