Creating a Trail Marker/Outside Hanging Sculpture

Today I was looking for things to make, that would allow me to utilize my glue gun as well as things I already had around the property. In the end I decided to make an outside hanging sculpture, which doubles as a trail marker.

I gathered all my supplies, in this case I used twigs, pine cones, glue gun, and yarn.

Then I began to glue the pieces into the shape I wanted. I really did not start out with a plan on how I wanted it to look, but as I began gluing it started to take shape in a way that I wanted.

It’s hard to see it in the picture, but the three pine cones in a row signify the top, while the single, lone pine cone is found on the bottom. The red yarn ties it all together, as well as allows you to find it in the woods.
