Well, since I’ve always get a zillion things running around in my head, I thought I’d clear up some things.
So let’s just suffice it to say I am going to attempt a Bachelor in Fine Arts until I finally have to make the choice for my emphasis, k? That way I don’t have to share a zillion posts of all the times I’ve “changed” my emphasis in my head.
Don’t get me wrong, I have lots of ideas on what I want to do. I just have to decide which avenue I want to take. Perhaps it’ll come to me easier once I start classes.
It is Sunday, though, and in honor of this day…I’d like to share with you the picture of the other love of my life, Sandy. (I wouldn’t want her to feel neglected.)
Ahh, Sandy, she is getting up there in age, but her mind is certainly bright as she keeps me on my toes. She knows EXACTLY what time she gets fed and God help me if I miss it! Then I get to listen to the most unusual bark ever, on repeat until the deed is done.
I’ve neglected my drawing all day today, purposefully I might add, as I think some time away from it might bring me to appreciate it a little more when I get back to it. Perhaps tonight I’ll feel inspired enough to pick up my pencils again.
In spite of everything I shall rise again: I will take up my pencil, which I have forsaken in my great discouragement, and I will go on with my drawing. Vincent VanGogh
It amazes me when I can find a quote so fitting…and by my favorite artist!
